Cook observed that Kohli takes what appears to be a significant risk, but for him, it is not a risk. This approach allows him to repeat such actions effectively. Kohli’s decision-making under pressure is considered a key factor in his success.
While many batters possess the ability to hit the ball powerfully or adhere to conventional cricket strategies, Kohli’s uniqueness stems from his capacity to manage the mental demands of a chase. He consistently performs at a high level, maintaining his form over a span of more than fifteen years.
